The Mosaic and The Merlin
Our most popular machines have a powerful rotary motor that provides ultra smooth, noise-free operations. At 8,000 rpm for the Merlin and 10,000 rpm for the Mosaic, both machines make permanent makeup services a cinch for the trained technician. The machines accomodate both ROUND and FLAT needles, and an
optional foot pedal is available for hands-free speed control.
With the rotary motor's up and down motion, the Mosaic and Merlin have an advantage over other machines that move from side to side.
Benefits of this Design
Better pigment deposit
Less fading, less touch-ups
Less skin trauma
Faster healing
Our state-of-the-art needle tubes easily snap into the front casing shaft through a pentagon-shaped opening, which effectively seals and resists any back flow of water or pigment and provides no chance of fluids cross contaminating. The tube can accommodate both round and flat needles, making changing between designing and outlining processes a breeze!
The
specially designed needle caps also accommodate both round and flat needles. The precision engineered tip holds the needle
snuggly and allows the proper amount of pigment flow for each needle configuration, eliminating splatter.
Just behind the tip serves as a holding area for pigment. It creates an
airflow that allows pigment to flow smoothly, maximizing pigment deposit
for the best possible result***. As an alternative, “flat only”
caps and “round
only” caps are available for technicians who
are used to working with one needle design shape at a time.
With metal needle sleeves ergonomically shaped for comfort, there's little room for the machine to slip. The sleeves can be sterilized and reused, but most artists prefer the individually packaged, pre-sterilized plastic disposable sleeves to guarantee sanitation.
The motor section is sealed at the factory so it can be cold solution sterilized. All parts from the motor down are pre-sterilized and disposable to eliminate cross contamination.
***More About the
Airflow Cap A lack of air causes a vacuum effect and sucks up pigment. Too
much air can force pigment out too hard and will splatter, and less pigment
gets to the skin. When not enough pigment is in the skin, the color will fade.
Merlin caps regulate the airflow for an even amount of pigment and better
result. When we say less touch-ups, we mean it, because we did it right the first time!
Protect Machines with Barrier
Film
For complete
protection from contamination, we recommend that you use disposable
Barrier Film on the machine and anything else you might touch or reach for during procedures.
Although
the cap, sleeve, front casing, transmission, and needles are all disposable
from the motor down, the Barrier Film can be used as a machine guard to
insure total sterilization from cross contamination of blood, fluids, pigment,
and stains from your gloves.
Permanent
makeup machines are professional tools. Keep them sterilized,
clean, and looking new! |
